Terms of Service

Effective date: October 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Camp One, provided by Camp One Compliance LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("Camp One," "we," "us"). By creating an account or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your company ("you," "Customer"). If you do not have authority to bind your company, do not use Camp One.

1. What Camp One does

Camp One is software that helps small defense contractors complete their annual CMMC Level 1 self-assessment. It provides a guided questionnaire, document templates (including a System Security Plan and policy templates), an evidence checklist, SPRS guidance, and reminders.

2. What Camp One does not do

  • Camp One is not legal advice and is not a law firm. Nothing in Camp One creates an attorney-client relationship.
  • Camp One does not certify, verify, or audit your compliance. CMMC Level 1 is a self-assessment; the results are yours.
  • Camp One does not submit anything to SPRS, the Department of Defense, or any prime contractor on your behalf.
  • Camp One is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Department of Defense or The Cyber AB.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of your answers in Camp One.
  • Actually implementing the safeguards you report as Met.
  • Everything you enter in SPRS, and the affirmation signed by your senior official.
  • Determining whether your contracts require CMMC Level 1, Level 2, or other requirements.

You understand that false or inaccurate statements to the government can carry serious legal consequences, and that Camp One's templates and guidance do not change your obligations.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials confidential, and use multi-factor authentication. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must tell us promptly at contact@camponecompliance.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified information, export-controlled technical data, or contract documents. Camp One is designed for screenshots, logs, receipts, and similar evidence only.
  • Upload anything you do not have the right to share.
  • Attempt to access other customers' data, test or bypass security, or disrupt the service.
  • Resell or share access outside your company.

We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

6. Plans, billing, and renewal

  • Plans are billed annually in advance through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number.
  • Your plan renews automatically each year at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email a reminder at least 30 days before each renewal.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing contact@camponecompliance.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid term.
  • Refunds: You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase, as long as you have not generated your final documents (System Security Plan, policy, or compliance packet). Once final documents are generated, fees are non-refundable. Renewals are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancelling stops future renewals.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

7. Your data

You own the information and files you put into Camp One ("Customer Data"). You give us permission to store and process Customer Data only to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your documents at any time. After your account closes, we delete Customer Data within 90 days, except where we must keep records by law (for example, billing records).

8. Our content

Camp One's software, questionnaires, templates, and guidance are owned by us. Documents generated for you are yours to use, modify, and share for your own business. You may not copy or redistribute Camp One's templates or content as a competing product.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Camp One available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. CMMC rules and government systems change; we update guidance as we become aware of changes, but you should confirm current requirements with official sources. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

CAMP ONE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USING CAMP ONE WILL MAKE YOU COMPLIANT, WIN OR KEEP ANY CONTRACT, OR SATISFY ANY PRIME CONTRACTOR OR GOVERNMENT REVIEW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW: (a) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST CONTRACTS, OR LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES; AND (b) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO CAMP ONE IS LIMITED TO THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Camp One against claims arising from your answers, your SPRS submissions and affirmations, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using Camp One at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse, with notice where practical. Sections 2, 3, 7, 8, and 10–15 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Gunnison County, Colorado, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

15. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about Camp One. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms by posting a new version and emailing account owners at least 30 days before material changes take effect. You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
